“What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall He teach in the way that He shall choose.” ~Psalm 25:12
What does it mean to fear the Lord? I recently heard it explained this way in a sermon: to fear Jehovah means
- To know Him and what He has done.
- To love Him for all that He is and all that He has done.
- To seek to please Him in everything you do.
What man is he that feareth the Lord, with all his heart, as he ought?
Fathoming constellations 
This is SO good. It really freed me up and drew me closer to God when I learned that the word “fear” was not what I thought, but rather the meaning is “reverence”. Fear sends me running, but I can surely reverence and love the great God who does so much for me, and Who yearns for continued intimacy with me. Wonderful post–God bless you Abundantly!
